  1. How can I order products using this website?

    Ordering from our site couldn’t be easier, here are some simple steps for you to follow;

    • Browse though our categories on the left to select the type of product you wish to purchase,
    • You will see some subcategories, click on the subcategory you are interested in ,
    • On this selected page you can scroll up and down to see products and click on any items of interest to view further details or purchase the product.
    • Once you’ve found your desired product ( in that product page) simply select the desired finish and size (if applicable) and enter the quantity required. Now click on ‘Add this to my cart’ button.
    • Your shopping cart page will be shown with your selected items.
    • You can now either click on ‘Continue shopping’ to add more products, or go to checkout. If you continue shopping the shopping cart in the top right hand corner keeps you updated with the current value of goods.
    • Once you are happy with your ordered products click on ‘check out’, or go to checkout by clicking on the view cart tab. Here you can check the items in your cart and update any mistakes.
    • You will need to register by ‘create account’ or ‘login’ to proceed. This is a simple process of entering your details.
    • On the next page check details and Please enter shipping address if different from billing address , press continue.
    • Enter credit card details to purchase products. Press continue.
    • Your details will appear to confirming your order.
    You will be notified via email containing your order details.

  2. Can I order by phone or by cheque?

    Yes, You can also order over the phone on 0208 7497234, or by mail if you wish.

    If you would like to pay by cheque, please make cheques payable to Capital Hardware and post with your order details to:

    Your goods will be dispatched as soon as the cheque clears our account.

  4. How quickly will my goods be dispatched?

    Orders placed before 2:00 pm on a working day will be processed that day and we aim to dispatch within approximately 1-4 working days.

    If items are temporarily out of stock, we will try our best to send your order out within 3/7 days. If we are unable to do this we will email you to reconfirm your order, It can take up to 5 days to get items in stock.

  5. What is the estimated shipping time?
    We mainly use a courier service on Standard next day delivery service. Where there are more than one products, they are all shipped in one consignment.
    The shipping time for International Orders is 5-7 working days.

    No, if your order is going outside the UK, you don’t have to pay VAT.

    Yes absolutely, our processes of Login, Register and Checkouts are secure. All transactions are encrypted using SSL (secure Socket Layer) certificates.

    SSL insures that information transferred between your computer and our server is encrypted and secure.

  11. Are the handles supplied in pairs and with fixing screws?
    Yes, all door handles and knobs are supplied in pairs with fixing screws. This should however be mentioned on the product description page. Cabinet handles/knobs and pull handles do not usually come in pairs.
